These Terms govern your use of the FlipTips website and Android app (together, the “Service”), operated under ABN 84553484170. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
FlipTips shows daily horse racing tips presented as face-down cards you tap or click to reveal. It is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. FlipTips is not a betting service: we do not accept bets, hold wagering funds, or facilitate wagering in any way, and the Service contains no links to bookmakers.
Horse racing outcomes are inherently uncertain. Nothing in the Service is a guarantee of any result, winnings, or profit. Any decision you make based on the Service, including any bet you place elsewhere, is entirely your own responsibility.
You must be 18 years or older, and of legal age to view gambling-related content in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
The Service offers a one-off, non-recurring purchase that unlocks that day’s tips (“the Unlock”). On the app, purchases are processed by Google Play Billing; on the website, by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout in the currency and amount stated there.
Because the Unlock is a digital product delivered immediately on payment, we generally do not offer refunds once tips for that day have been revealed. This does not limit any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law (or equivalent consumer protection law in your jurisdiction) that cannot be excluded - for example, where the Service is not delivered as described or the payment was processed in error. Contact admin@fliptips.com.au for any purchase issue.
The app requires no account. The website purchase flow collects an email address solely to send your receipt and an access-recovery link, and issues a token that unlocks that day’s tips in your browser. Losing that token (e.g. by clearing cookies) without using the emailed recovery link may result in losing access for that day; contact admin@fliptips.com.au if this happens.
You agree not to misuse the Service - including attempting to circumvent the paywall, scrape or redistribute tips content commercially, or interfere with the Service’s normal operation.
The FlipTips name, logo, design, and tips content are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any tip will be accurate or profitable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including any wagering losses incurred after using information from the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
