This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of FlipTips (ABN 84553484170) (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in connection with the FlipTips Android app (package au.fliptips.app) and this website. By using FlipTips, you agree to this Policy.
FlipTips is designed to be used anonymously. We do not require an account. The app never asks for your name, email, or phone number. The website only collects an email address if you choose to make a one-off purchase, solely to send your payment receipt and access link.

FlipTips provides daily horse racing tips and related insight for entertainment and informational purposes only. FlipTips is not a betting service. It does not accept bets, hold or transfer any money for wagering, or guarantee any outcome. Any decision you make is your own responsibility.
We collect only what we need to run the app and website, keep them working, and process purchases.
a) App - device push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Identifies your app installation, not you personally.
b) App - usage and diagnostic data (Firebase Analytics). Aggregate usage data: screens opened, session counts, approximate (coarse) location from IP, device model, OS version, app version.
c) App - purchase records (Google Play Billing). Google processes your payment; we never see your card details. We store a record that a purchase was made (purchase token, product ID, status) to verify and restore your unlock.
d) Website - purchase records (Stripe). If you unlock tips on the website, Stripe processes your payment; we never see or store your full card number. We receive and store your email address (for your receipt and an access-recovery link), the Stripe payment/session reference, and a randomly generated access token - not linked to your real-world identity beyond that email.
e) Entitlement / app data (Supabase). To remember an unlock, we store a minimal entitlement record keyed to an anonymous identifier (an app-generated installation ID, or the website access token above). The tips content itself is also served from this backend.
We do not knowingly collect your real name, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or files.
To deliver the core product (show and reveal daily tips); send notifications when new tips are available; process, verify, and restore purchases; email your receipt and access-recovery link (website only); diagnose problems and improve the product; protect against fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with the providers that make FlipTips work:

Resend (delivers the post-purchase access-link email) - see Resend’s Privacy Policy.

App push token: while installed, refreshed by FCM. Analytics: per Firebase defaults. App purchase/entitlement record: retained to honour your permanent unlock and meet legal/accounting obligations. Website access token: expires automatically at the end of the day it was issued for; your email and payment reference are retained for receipts and legal/accounting obligations.
You may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information depending on where you live. Because FlipTips is anonymous by design, most data can’t be tied back to a specific person to delete on request - where it can (e.g. your website purchase email), email admin@fliptips.com.au and we will act on it, except where we must retain records by law.
FlipTips concerns horse racing tips and is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Contact admin@fliptips.com.au if you believe a child has provided us information.
Data in transit is protected with industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.
We may update this Policy from time to time and will change the “Last updated” date above.
